Autos to Fly

It is not about how it looks; it is about how it feels…

While it still looks like a Sube, it performs like a racecar. The WRX STI (which stands for Subaru Tecnica International) gets its motorsports technology directly from Subaru expertise in FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) competition. Lots of changes for '06 [model]: new 2.5L 300hp engine, new driver controlled differentials and re-worked suspension. Let me be perfectly clear: this car for serious driving enthusiasts only. Still looks like a Sube, though.

Text Box: The resulting car is electrifying through bends, with razor-sharp turn-in and a breathtaking ability to change directions and hold the line, whether you're in a fast, sweeping curve or a tight apex. The steering, at just 2.2 turns between locks, is go-kart quick, but the Brembo brakes require a firm push.
